The Youth Association for the Protection of Nature (NAJU) is one of Europe´s biggest environmental youth organisations with approximately 80.000 members. These members are distributed across Germany and are mostly active on local or regional level. Our goal is an active contribution to environmental and nature protection through the conservation of biotopes and species, the provision of environmental education as well as the political engagement of young people. In our thinking and acting we follow the principles of sustainable development.
Our international work consists of 3 main parts: organizing and implementing international youth exchanges around the world, providing information on international youth work for the environmental sector and implementing innovative project ideas, e.g. EUROTOPE.NET.

Our International Working Group
The working group NAJU International was founded in 2004 after the idea arose to create the internet forum. The members of the working group are distributed all over Germany and even the Czech Republic, since the working group started to collaborate with Youth and Environment Europe (YEE).
Since then, we hope to find more and more partners from European Environmental Youth Organisations to bring the project to an international idea.
Our regular activities so far are working meetings, in which we planned the project idea further. The working group is organised by young volunteers of YEE and NAJU.
